Noémiah Fall/Winter '15

As much as I'm looking forward to spring, here in New Zealand, I can't help but fall in love with lookbooks featuring Autumn/Winter collections. Canadian designer Noémie Vaillancourt's label Noémiah is what dreams are made of. Filled with little embroidered accents, beautiful peachy pinks and poufy silhouettes, Noémiah's latest collection fuses heavy knits with Spring/Summer colours.

"Designer behind the brand Noémiah, Noémie Vaillancourt studied literature before embarking in the world of fashion.

Offered since 2008, her feather jewelry line paved the way for the creation of clothing and accessories. Professional studies (tailoring and alterations, pattern drafting) allowed her to acquire the essential knowledge quality work. Internships with experienced designers (Valérie Dumaine, Travis Taddeo) allowed her to improve her skills.

Noémiah style is recognized by the care given to some feminine details (bows, frills, scalloped hems). It is the expression of a sensibility that combines character and elegance.

Noémie Vaillancourt values handmade work and the use of natural materials. She frequently collaborates with artists and artisans in making various projects."
